We had these spiders in the garage of the house in Montreal. This one found itself outside whilst I was cleaning up the garage. My best guess is that they are of the family pholcidae.

So far, I have not found a single spider in the house in Madrid. Nor do I recall seeing any outdoors either.

I hope you are alright!

I wonder how many insects bother people in Madrid? I saw and article once about black flies in Spain. Nice looking spider picture:-)

Aside from ants, I haven't really seen many insects in Madrid. In October, when the weather was getting cooler, there were some flies - but it was nothing compared to Canada (or, worse yet, living out in the country).

Taking pictures is tough. I often go through many poor shots before finding one that is reasonably decent. I was lucky that day - it was sunny - so lighting was not an issue.
