Trees are beginning to flower in Madrid (I noticed on Monday, but who’s paying detailed attention – especially if I didn’t have my camera out until today?).

Taken today while it was sunny.

Different tree. Looks like the same flowers. Taken today while it was overcast. Had to tweak the colour and contrast up a bit, so we lose some detail in the clouds.

A tiny little blue flowers growing on the side of a path. Also taken today.

Madrid never really went dead like it does in Canada. There are lots of evergreen plants (who knew olive trees were evergreens?)

There are quite a lot of flowers everywhere (including some dandelions).

I have no idea what that blue flower is. It is quite tiny. I should carry a ruler with me to provide scale.
