Walking down Alcala Street in Madrid, I came across this rather unusual professional pairing (the google map link takes you to the location so you can see for yourself):

If you need help with the translation (although, I think it is pretty easy to figure out the English equivalent words from the Spanish):

Gynaecologist

Dentist

Fraternity (as in brotherhood or guild)

I wonder if it is one professional with dual specialization or multiple professionals sharing a common office?

I did a double take the first time I noticed it. There is another medical clinic sign just behind that one (you can just see it in blue), but I don't think they are associated.

It must be possible to have both a gynecological exam and dental work done at the same time (using two different doctors, of course).

In other words, it sounds like a model of efficiency to me!

I am pretty sure it would also feel quite intrusive. I know I am not terrible keen on having people putting the fingers (along with sharp implements) in my mouth. Not sure I would want to be worked at the other end at the same time.
