There was a man wanted a boat more than anything. Despite all his best efforts, his wife was adamant in her refusal. Needless to say, he went ahead and bought a bought a boat without his wife’s approval.

"I'll tell you what," he told her. "In the spirit of compromise, why don't you name the boat?"

Being a good sport, she accepted.
