I argued as Jason picked out chunks of tomato from his chili.

"I hate cooked tomatoes. The tomatoes in ketchup are pureed and they have sugar added," he said.

 I didn't really mind him picking out the tomatoes. I was happy he was eating the rest of the chili because he used to hate chili.

It is really funny how kids react to certain things, and then they forget about the others. I used to hate mayonnaise as a kid, because my mother used to put it everywhere... Now I just use Hellmans with my eggs, but nowhere else...

It has been a long struggle to get Jason to eat vegetables. Fortunately, I am winning.

There are some things I didn't like as a kid - spinach soup being one, brussels sprouts another, but now, I am ok with them.
