I cannot draw or paint, though I can colour between the lines (mostly). Nor can I sculpt or compose or play a musical instrument. And you would only want to hear me sing if you wanted to get rid of pests (although, I am a very good reader and public speaker).

I have Betty Edwards book, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Which is a very good book and I have been able, through some mind shifting exercises in the book, render reasonable facsimiles of line drawings. But I still can’t draw. That doesn’t stop me from wishing and hoping and sometimes even trying to draw.

Today, I was very pleased with a rabbit I drew. I could see the outline of the rabbit in my mind. I concentrated very hard to ignore my preconceptions of a rabbit and how it should look and simply followed the outline in my mind.

I am also ok with the flower, but not so with the snake and cloud. I can live with the representation of the bird.

Just to avoid any misinterpretations - I am not whining or looking for pity. I just happen to like the way this rabbit came out.

Yes, there is advertising. The web hosting costs $5.95 per month and the domain name $10.45 per year (plus applicable taxes). Hopefully, the ads will, over the course of a year, pay for the cost of the website.
